Rites For Local Resident To Be Tuesday [15 DEC 1970] Afternoon

Eugene Callier Clabaugh, 75, 626 S. Eighth St., passed away at 7:03 p.m. Saturday in Wyandot Memorial Hospital. He had been in failing health three months and seriously ill two weeks.

Born March 14, 1895 in Ada [OH], he was the son of William P. and Daisy (McElroy) Clabaugh. He married Rosella C. McClain on June 8, 1918 in Upper Sandusky [OH] and she died August 31, 1958.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Glenn (Rosemary) Frank, route two, Upper Sandusky; a son Harry C. Clabaugh, route one, Upper Sandusky; and a grandson, [Still living], Marion [OH]. A son and a grandson are deceased.

Mr. Clabaugh was a retired employee of the Marion Engineer Depot. He was a veteran of World War I. He was a member of John Stewart United Methodist Church, a life member of the American Legion Post No. 225 and was a member of the Wyandot County [OH] Sportsmen's Club.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Lucas Funeral Home. The Rev. A. Donald Collins will officiate. Burial is to be made in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today [14 DEC 1970].
