Services 2 P.M. Wednesday [21 OCT 1959] For Mrs. Clarence Clabaugh

Mrs. Irene O. Clabaugh, 63, of route four, Upper Sandusky [OH], died at 1:15 a.m. Sunday in Wyandot Memorial Hospital. She had suffered a stroke July 28 and a series of them since.

Born December 28, 1895 in Wyandot county [OH], she was the daughter of Charles A. and Mary Catherine (Secoy) McClain. She was married December 12, 1917, to Clarence L. Clabaugh, who died March 5, 1958.

Survivors include two sons, Vernon Benjamin Clabaugh, Upper Sandusky, and Donald William Clabaugh, route four, Upper Sandusky; five grandchildren, [Still living], [Still living], [Still living], [Still living], and [Still living], all of in and near Upper Sandusky; and four brothers, Ora McClain, Nevada [OH]; Floyd McClain, Upper Sandusky, and Roy and Vernon McClain, both of route one, Upper Sandusky. One sister, Mrs. Rosella Clabaugh, is deceased.

Mrs. Clabaugh was a former school teacher and a member of John Stewart Methodist Church here. She spent her lifetime in this community.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Bringman and Co. funeral home with Rev. Hugh M. Robinson, pastor of John Stewart Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be made in Old Mission cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday [20 OCT 1959] from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
