MRS. ASA QUAIL

South of Kirby [OH], Dies Monday [16 JUN 1902] Morning From Bright's Disease.

Mrs. Mary R. Quail, wife of Asa Quail, residing south of Kirby, died this Monday morning at 5 o'clock, from Bright's disease, after an illness of about two years. The death of Mrs. Quail removes from that community one of the most highly esteemed and lovable of women, and her demise will be deeply regretted by all who knew her.

Mrs. Quail was the daughter of Abraham and Mary (Neff) McClain and was born in Wyandot county [OH], May 14, 1843. May 28, 1863, she was united in marriage with Asa Quail, and of the seven children born to them, six, together with the husband and father, are still living, namely, Mrs. H.H. Hougendobler, of near Forest [OH]; Mrs. E.G. Morrison, Kirby; Mrs. W.C. Trachsel, of near this city [Upper Sandusky, OH]; George, Mattie and Avery Quail.

The funeral will occur from the house Tuesday [17 JUN 1902] afternoon at 2 o'clock and will be conducted by Rev. G.H. Beaschler. Interment will be made in Oak Hill cemetery.

MRS. ASA QUAIL

Mrs. Asa Quail, of near Kirby [OH], died Monday [16 JUN 1902] morning at 5 o'clock after a lingering illness from Bright's disease and heart trouble. Mrs. Quail was fifty-six years of age and leaves a husband and six children.

The funeral occurred Tuesday [17 JUN 1902] afternoon from the house, Rev. Beaschler, of Harpster [OH], officiating. Interment took place in Oak Hill.
