Rites For Mrs. Edwin Grundtisch To Be Friday [15 JAN 1971]

Mrs. Caroline (Callie) M. Grundtisch, 94, of Upper Sandusky [OH], died at the Indian Trail Nursing Home near Carey [OH] this Wednesday [13 JAN 1971] at 7:45 a.m. following a long illness.

Born January 1, 1877, in Wyandot County [OH], she was the daughter of James and Mary (Schindler) Mosman. She was married March 6, 1895, to Philip Edwin Grundtisch, who preceded her in death November 27, 1955.

Surviving are five children, Harvey Grundtisch of east of McCutchenville [OH]; Glenn Grundtisch of Upper Sandusky; Mrs. Ruth McClain of east of Upper Sandusky; Miss Marjorie (sic) Grundtisch of Upper Sandusky, and Mrs. Mildred Whittington, Springfield, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, and a sister, Mrs. Oddie McDaniel of near Nevada [OH].

Two daughters, Mrs. Edna Althouse and Miss Nellie Grundtisch, four brothers [Benny J. MOSMAN, Harry L. MOSMAN, Willie Newton MOSMAN, and Lloyd Scott MOSMAN] and a sister [Cora Belle MOSMAN] preceded her in death.

Mrs. Grundtisch was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Upper Sandusky.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1:30 p.m. from the Bringman & Co. Funeral Home with the Rev. Frederick Santschi, pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will be made in Old Mission Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home anytime after 3:30 p.m. Thursday [14 JAN 1971].
