Died at His Home East of Town [Upper Sandusky, OH] Saturday [30 JUN 1928] Evening

The death of F.L. Swan occurred Saturday evening at 7:45 o'clock at his home, east of this city [Upper Sandusky, OH], from a complication of diseases after an illness lasting for several years.

Mr. Swan was born February 27, 1866, on the homestead where he resided, being aged at his death 62 years, 4 months and 3 days. He was a son of James and Angeline Robinson Swan (sic), both now deceased. He was united in marriage with Ida M. Blaser October 8, 1899, who survives. To this union were born three children, Irene, the wife of A.G. Wilson, residing on the home farm; Marjorie, at home, and Miriam, who died in infancy. Four grandchildren also survive. Mr. Swan leaves one brother and two sisters, J.E. Swan, Mrs. W.J. Blaser and Mrs. A.W. Althouse, all residing east of this city. A brother, W.A. Swan , and a sister, Nettie Swan, preceded him in death. Mr. Swan also leaves a host of friends. He was a member of the Salem Evangelical church.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday [03 JUL 1928] morning at 10:30 o'clock at the Salem Evangelical church, conducted by Rev. E.D. Paulin, of Tiffin [OH], assisted by Rev. A.C. Coldiron. Burial will be made in the church cemetery.
