Rites Monday [26 MAY 1952] At Galion For Former Upper Sandusky [OH] Woman

Mrs. Theresa Flowers, of Galion, 75-year-old widow of the late Bert Flowers, died Friday [23 MAY 1952] at 11 p.m. in Crestline [OH] Emergency hospital, where she had been admitted in July of this year (sic). Her home was at 240 South Columbus street, Galion. She had been in failing health for the past two years.

Born February 15, 1877, in Wyandot county [OH], the deceased was a daughter of Rev. Godfrey and Rose (sic) (Kuenzli) Blaser. She was married to Bert Flowers in February, 1900. He preceded her in death May 5, 1929.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Frank Fuzer, of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Clark Dickerson, of Galion; a son, Harley Flowers, of Galion; a brother, B.F. Blaser, of Cleveland [OH], and five grandchildren.

A daughter, Gladys, is deceased.

There are a number of relatives residing in Wyandot county.

Mrs. Flowers was a member of the First Methodist church in Galion, and a member of the W.C.T.U. She had lived in Galion 52 years, going there from Upper Sandusky.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. from the Snyder funeral home in Galion. Rev. Norman R. Somerville will officiate. Burial will be made in Fairview cemetery, Galion.

Friends may call at the Snyder funeral home after 7 o'clock this Saturday [24 MAY 1952] evening.
